چکیده
The Indus Water Treaty allocated the water of Ravi River to India, and India constructed Thein Dam on River. This study investigates availability Riverfront for both pre-dam post-dam scenarios augmented with pre-flood, flood, post-flood sub-scenarios. also river low high magnitudes (Flow Duration Curves) its linkages climate change. modified Mann–Kendall, Sen’s slope estimator, Pearson correlation were used investigate flows. It was found that there is a remarkable decrease in by −36% annual mean flows as compared scenario. However, during flood season, it −32% at riverfront upstream (Ravi Syphon Gauge). reduction volume 2.13 Million Acre Feet (MAF) 1.03 MAF maximum mean, respectively, Rabi (Winter) 4.07 2.76 max Kharif (Summer) season. revealed 180–750 cusecs would be available or exceeded 90% 99% time mainly controlled temperature scenario; presently, this stored reservoir. In contrast, precipitation role significant scenario, which means are due base flow contributions precipitation. first step analyzing Riverfront, will ultimately address associated problems their solutions decision-makers. Additionally, implementing an eco-friendly promotes urban sustainability developed areas, such Lahore City, lead comfortable healthy lifestyle; only possible reach.

Sustainable water deliveries from the Colorado River in a changing climate.
The Colorado River supplies water to 27 million users in 7 states and 2 countries and irrigates over 3 million acres of farmland. Global climate models almost unanimously project that human-induced climate change will reduce runoff in this region by 10-30%. This work explores whether currently scheduled future water deliveries from the Colorado River system are sustainable under different clima...

متن کاملRiver flow regimes in a changing climate
A river flow regime describes an average seasonal behaviour of flow and reflects the climatic and physiographic conditions in a basin. Differences in the regularity (stability) of the seasonal patterns reflect different dimensionality of the flow regimes, which can change subject to changes in climate conditions. The empirical orthogonal functions (EOF) approach can be used to describe the intr...
متن کاملTransboundary Water Resources Allocation under Various Parametric Conditions: the Case of the Euphrates & Tigris River Basin
The literature on transboundary water resources allocation modeling is still short on encompassing and analyzing complex geographic multiparty nature of basins. This study elaborates the Inter Temporal Euphrates and Tigris River Basin Model (ITETRBM), which is a linear programming based transboundary water resources allocation model maximizing net economic benefit from allocation of scarce wate...
